Here's Lex's interview with Stephan Wolfram, whose theories he asks Ben about. I have only watched the intro so far but Wolfram is obviously a huge theoretical 'collapser' and Lex rhapsodizes (in his usual semi-muddy way) over this aspect of science in the intro. He also talks in the intro about his (Lex's) 'minimalist' life style, his desire to make videos about Hitler's rise to power, Stalin, Putin (common for TiSe to become interested in how power writ large is wielded), and also @6'30"-7'03", about how he (Lex) thinks. Lex is not Ne auxiliary. He struggles with articulating his thoughts in the moment as Ne PolR does, but he also has chosen the challenge of working on his PolR publicly, via use of Se 'power of acting upon' tool. Sheer force of will.

Around 8'30, Ben suggests that what we perceives as random fluctuations at quantum level might actually be the thought processes of tiny superminds. Then Lex asks "then aren't we part of the soup of superintelligence ? Aren't we just like the finger of the entirety of the superintelligent system ?"
Actually, he said 'a finger of the entirety of the body of the entirety...' and chuckled.
To which Ben replies "a finger is a strange metaphor". And well, yeah, it's a very S one for a very Ne idea.
Then Ben corrects him, supplying a better S metaphor. "Think about..." the random shape of a crowd at a sport event.
At that point Ben also goes very very abstract, very Ti (Epiphenomenon. Semi-arbitrary emerging pattern. etc) to try to get Lex to broaden his frame and get the Ne of this from the Ti perspective they share.
He also says "So be it", meaning 'whatever'. He's simultaneously abstract AND throwaway. The throwawayness implies the abstractness has its concrete side. And Lex says "It's still a fun ride".

Another correction of Lex's Ne, not quite seamless already, happens right after that. Ben observes that his dogs have no idea what Ben is doing when he is typing on his keyboard. Lex suggests that the opposite might also be true, and dogs might be superintelligent and we wouldn't realize it either.
An idea that Ben deems "not crazy enough to be true".

Meh. That exchange has other stuff in it and ends with Lex laughing heartily. A feat in and of itself to illicit that from him, I'd guess. 'Ne' isn't just about ideas.

It was seamless enough to keep a tailor idle up til then.
The problems should be starting now, right after, around @11'22. Heart Throb wants to know where love fits in.
Edit: Nope, so far so good.

So far, so good. Lex just let the transhumanism slide and count as 'human' dimension of AI, then let Ben lecture on polyphony in Dostoyevsky, and now he's on his family background. Most amusingly, the Russian Joo Fridman, who has even perused Ben's family tree, is surprised that Ben is Joosh. Lex is such a rube. It's part of his appeal.

Second time Ben makes Lex crack up. Second time Lex feels compelled to say 'well put' when he cracks up. (First time was 'beautifully put').
Lex is super uptight. Ben is loosening him up and so far it's all Ben feeding Lex Ne. Lex just lets Ben slide in the "F" department.
At around 18'35"--after Ben says his Ashkenazi Jewish roots were all about learning and understanding, the 'but not taking yourself too seriously when you do it' seems very pointed toward Lex with a twinkle in his eye.

Starting around 31'32" Lex asks about the will to power, and good and evil. Ben says good and evil are 'silly' concepts in a way. Ben is definitely in the driver's seat and Lex is still not really backseat driving.

It seems to me that by around 37', Lex is really going deep into 'Fi' but he still appears to be earnestly asking Ben to explain why we are the way we are, and oc Ben's explanations are evolutionary. I don't see any reverse supervision yet.

I think that overlaps with being a double interfacer. Xi Jinping, Trump, etc. EDIT: " You see those asparagus? Eat every single one of them."

How are you using 'interfacer' @ash? What makes all those people double interfacers? ( vincent has his own use here in the kingdom).

At 47" Lex says to Ben, "Maybe we should step back a little' and asks Ben to explain the origins of the term AGI. (Goertzel is sometimes referred to as 'the father of Artificial General Intelligence').
So at this point Lex really remembers the fanz, and the way he says they should 'step back' suggests maybe he feels he was getting 'carried away'.
By Ben's Ne. Lex is very 'mission-oriented', single-minded goal orientation, as we have seen in his my typical day video. It's very Te-ish but it's not organic Te either. It's unignoring through Se force of will tool (StrEngth). It's not Te finding of FiNe. Ne tool is too diffuse and also FiNe is Se PolR. Can't sustain it. It's usually TiSe that 'does' Te this way ime.
