ahmed , why do you suppose it is that you feel so much pull toward 'jct' and so little toward e of p? I'm not sure...I think partially is that I don't see a structural "kick" the same way I get in jct. and although it is based on some ancient traditions, something is still not connecting for me, but not exactly sure what it is.

Enneagram didn't immediately "click" for me either. It took quite a bit longer than with ct.
With ct, the elegance of the matrix got me quick and grew on me fast.
In my case, Eli Jaxon-Bear book "From fixation to freedom" helped a lot.
I would suggest you give it a try if you haven't read it already.
You might also want to take a look (and i mean a look, not just an hear) at those videos

But anyway, did you never got a glimpse of supervision by listening to Peterson ?
"Clean your room" works with me. Sometimes.
I do get a certain kick, depending on which version of Peterson I'm watching (Peterson's type confuses me sometimes) Peterson's ct is a clusterfuck and I'm going to wind up going back to it and vincent is already eye-rolling me. But consider being supervised by the recent, evolved incarnation of one Sam Vaknin.
