And the thing about it is I still see a pretty heavy sp cover. It's so not...open, really. But very...zany. How?

I mean I'm not really here to give a compelling argument. I'm not even sure this is knowable. But atm my typing would be sp/so 937, fairly heavy on the sp, so muted on the 7 but still present.

Yes, that's true, there is still some sp cover there. Maybe too much for sp/SO -> so/sx.

Only there?

No, of course not. Not only there.
Even there.

My first impression was so/sx, but going back to the interviews I was seeing sp/so more. There’s the age factor, but even in some earlier photos he looks like he’s resigned into himself (even if he’s glad to have been along for the ride). However I’m also having a hard time pinning down where the ‘zaniness’ is coming form and if it’s from sx 7 last then why is it showing up more in his earlier years? Also, in some of those photos he seems rather ‘ghoulish’ than a more social ‘air like’ zany. I don’t know for certain whether 9w1 3w2 7w6 sp/so is enough to sometimes create that impression (not saying it’s not for certain either. Though in some of those photos it’s hard to tell whether he has pop rocks for eyes at 7 or if those are just his nerves shooting up at 6). ‘Ghoulish’ is more sp/sx, but I definitely don’t think he’s social last or counterflow given how he’s spun from group to group (and just from how he is in interviews).

My first impression was so/sx, but going back to the interviews I was seeing sp/so more. The clincher may not be a question of seeing but just hearing. Almost 'lack of affect' in the early radio interview. There’s the age factor, but even in some earlier photos he looks like he’s resigned into himself (even if he’s glad to have been along for the ride). I think if you look closely this quality never really leaves. However I’m also having a hard time pinning down where the ‘zaniness’ is coming form and if it’s from sx 7 last then why is it showing up more in his earlier years? Well, that would be because 7 integrates to 5, and as much as I'm conjecturing he's L6, he's not a 'shock point dweller' like 'Ana Psychologist'. He's average health, he has integration over time. (Not high integration, though. This is why we don't hear him doubt fruitfully in order to give meaning to all those amazing experiences he had--which would be 9 lead at high 6--etc.)Also, in some of those photos he seems rather ‘ghoulish’ than a more social ‘air like’ zany. He absolutely does seem ghoulish in quite a few photos.
But I had Seven in mind as distinct from so/sx when I used 'zany', and I could probably articulate what the difference might be if I thought about it (I hadn't), but obviously the social stacking is inherently outward directed. In any case atm I really doubt he has high social (though I agree, it's definitely not last). In fact, I think synflow rather low social sx lastness was probably what prevented him from having the solo career he (and at times the industry) desired.
I don’t know for certain whether 9w1 3w2 7w6 sp/so is enough to sometimes create that impression (not saying it’s not for certain either. The thing is it seems to me that upon close inspection, his expressions almost always seem forced or zoned out or both. And that radio interview...Though in some of those photos it’s hard to tell whether he has pop rocks for eyes at 7 or if those are just his nerves shooting up at 6). Is that how nerves typically manifest. with 6, though? That kind of 'electricity' seems to me more 5/7 line 'live wire'. ‘Ghoulish’ is more sp/sx, but I definitely don’t think he’s social last or counterflow given how he’s spun from group to group (and just from how he is in interviews). And that wallpaper...
This guy is very synflow. What people may be missing here is that a heavy sp cover makes SP/so come off sp/sx-ish AND SP/sx come off sp/so-ish. I'm not going to go so far as to suggest Tony is (was) SP/so, but I do think it's midstream more toward that range than the higher social.

ps I think I was thinking of 'zany' as being more inherently eccentric, like burning up your own fuse (5/7 line), which has an 'unattachedness', in contrast to being socially 'all over the place', which would be more so/sx. In a couple of photos Tony Burrows' eyes seem to almost go in concentric circles like Einstein's, like your classic 'absent-minded professor' or 'mad scientist', i.e. heavy on the 5 (meaning 5<-->7 line, and also having 9/1). All this may have nothing to do with the actual meaning of zany btw.

The 5/7 line actually does imply eccentricity. Attachment (triangle) is 'the center'. Rejection and frustration are ex-centric, outside of the center. When non-compliant (so not 1 and 2), non-attachment types are eccentric*. When you add in the 'electric' quality of the head triad in general, you get 'zany'. This is not to say that 6 doesn't do zany, but that's the thing, it 'does' it (consider Lady Gaga). Whereas 5/7 line is it (overtly or covertly, whether it wants to or not). *Though I would put in qualifiers for omnivorous 8 here.

Notwithstanding his other energetic signals, Tony Burrows does at least seem to give the impression of having suave evenness, which is what I think initially stood out. The more and more I see of him, and as I read the posts here, I notice more and more just how continually 'clenched' he actually is—he's sort of "rolling with the punches" except he isn't limp, he's 'clenched' in a way that reveals palpable, underlying anger, which is characteristic of Sp dominant gut types in general, and I think it might explain some of that awkwardness. Given this, I'm inclined to agree with sp/so 937; I don't really think the first sentence of this post would hold if he were sp/so triple-attached. It's been made clear that he's very close to that, but he should probably have a 'vaseline cool' component like Sx 7, as Roshan noted here. EDIT: To clarify, when I say he seems 'clenched' I don't really mean that he's physically rigid. I mean that he has a quality of being 'clung to himself' in a way that reveals a sort of underlying anger, even in photos like this:

Correct, anthony , if he were triple attached, I would expect to see more overt push-pull and passive-aggression, on top of the more internal-serving 'clenchedness'.

It's been made clear that he's very close to that, but he should probably have a 'vaseline cool' component like Sx 7, as Roshan noted here. Well, to be clear, I was talking about the excited, dissipated side of 7, and, yes, here specifically of sx 7--which I called 'bubblehead' looking for God's plan, and which is commonly called "sx 7 Suggestibility".
'Vaseline cool' is Naranjo's, for E7 in general. This co-exists with general 7 'enthusiastic' aspects, making 7 what I call 'teflon' (5/7 line), somehow tangential or oblique to the moment. Being pain avoidant, 7 can't be fully engaged, so like teflon it both cooks things and lets them slide. In fact, sx 7 Suggestibility itself depends on this 'teflon' to be as distractible as it is. As I said elsewhere, 'if it sticks it's Six'. EDIT: To clarify, when I say he seems 'clenched' I don't really mean that he's physically rigid. I mean that he has a quality of being 'clung to himself' in a way that reveals a sort of underlying anger, even in photos like this:
i.pinimg.com/originals/9f/3d/5d/9f3d5dc1abedb9972f2dfcde9e7c0a84.jpgYes, even there. Upon close inspection, young Tony's expressions, when they are for us, always look a little forced, like crocuses peeping out over permafrost.
