"where are the NeTi hiding ?"
If you look at NeTi main process, it's very obvious that they should be the ones exploring and charting new theoretical realms for the Tribe. So there should be many of them in Philosophy. Among the big august names and among the teachers too.
Turns out it's not really the case. Most people i would have thought would be NeTi turns out to be something else instead.
There is several reasons to this, i think.
Lots of them are probably drawn to natural sciences instead, because of Si seeking. (Rupert Sheldrake would be an example of that EDIT: he is probably TiNe--rg) Others will be drawn to the Law ( Viva Frei for example), because of demonstrative Te. Lots will be drawn to journalism (like Luke Rudkowski), politics, activism, and to the arena of power in general, because of Se role.
So an actual NeTi philosopher is likely to be teaching (Te6th) in a venerable old university, upholding a tradition and literally dualized to an institution (Si inf) with a focus on pretty dark topics. (Se role)
And there you have it :

Not sure if you saw this I posted last night about Viva and his dual and the problem of shall we say untethered hegemonic abstraction in non-dualized NeTi, or if this was a Vulcan mind meld moment. But I agree, NeTi philosophers are often tethered to an institution; something/someone must hold them, for if a kite flies in the cloudforest and no one sees it, does it make the rounds? And omg, looking back, we had quite a few of those NeTi professors in various areas of the humanities but heavy heavy on the abstraction when I was at 'uni'--in the Golden Age of Radii.

I saw it now, and i was about to reply to it. But the thing is, i went to bed with that NeTi philosopher question last night, and i woke up thinking about Kagan. And kept thinking about that in my bus (where many of my posts are "made") And that would have been pretty much at the same time you were posting here about Viva Frei
