-Jumpers are rarer than trauma. If they were "born from trauma", i would expect to see more of them. But that's exactly what you'd expect if Jumpers weren't a direct consequence of trauma but a case of the consequences of a massively phobic PoLR, especially one coinciding mostly with early ontogenetic development, which would further constraint down the "necessary parameters".

@ash It really strikes me that you liked my post saying I couldn't talk about the other jumper's development in public but ignored my posts about myself and aren't asking me whether I think I started off with a 'massively phobic PolR".
Or Vincent for that matter either.
So do you want to do this without people in it?

I saw it as setting boundaries around oneself, not setting boundaries around strangers("the other jumpers"). I'd see people as the "data-point mediums" towards those "cosmic forces", so it's not like I do not want to talk about them at all, it's more like I see them as "cases/examples of the abstracted theory[towards which I am striving]".

Oh, then I misunderstood the post then. I saw it as setting boundaries around oneself, not setting boundaries around strangers("the other jumpers"). Well, I offered (implicitly) to discuss a third party privately and to discuss myself publicly--though you're right (also implicitly) that I'd probably be freer about myself privately. What did you think I'd offered?

What did you think I'd offered? I saw it as drawing a line, going by the theory of jumpers arising from trauma. EDIT: (since I don't want to mass-post snippets of what could be one post) Also I don't think it's particularly wise to openly reveal one's Achilles heel on a public forum.

@ash, I don't understand what line you thought I was drawing though.

and pps you are right to consider problem of multiple posts but also these posts can always be consolidated and some deleted which I will but I want to make sure if I add something it is seen. The problem with editing is if someone already read they may not see the edit even if you do it 'instantly'. Existence is inherently flawed in this veil of tears.

@ash , I don't understand what line you thought I was drawing though. ? Well not all people are equally comfortable about talking about childhood traumas, which is the data point off of which we could decide the theory.

Okay, there's a miscommunication here and you haven't been quite getting what I've been asking, and I want us to unravel this. But before we do, let me ask if you were actually aware that you had left the thread with me having asked a question that was still dangling, @ash .

I didn't don't know how to respond properly. Public or private section or by pm, this ^ would've been perfectly adequate response. Thanks. Anyway let me go back to explain what I was asking and to try to ferret out why it is you don't seem to quite understand me. tbcd
