Grant Function Type: INFP MBTI: ENFP
Ne (extraverted intuition) 28.2 Ni (introverted intuition) 16 Se (extraverted sensing) 19 Si (introverted sensing) 23 Te (extraverted thinking) 20 Ti (introverted thinking) 13 Fe (extraverted feeling) 18 Fi (introverted feeling) 29
"As a young child, you may have been obedient and considerate, choosing to please others rather than be a burden. You were likely to spend time by yourself, as your feelings were directed inwardly. You may have devalued your own interests, preferring to serve others and be praised. You felt obligated to keep harmony, taking responsibility whenever conflict arose.
Around the age of twelve, you began to develop your intuition, looking to expand your imaginative realm. This attitude germinated in a social manner, as you found yourself becoming more outgoing, sharing your ideas often in lively discussion. Though you still preferred being alone to cultivate your feelings, you found real joy in interacting with others as you began to orient yourself toward more imaginative ways of doing things and planning out their future. Your focus drifted away from actuality and more toward the essences of things. You might also have found it difficult to keep things in order, but you were able to probe for them to your own satisfaction.
At twenty, you found excitement in discovering the sensory world, which had previously been of little interest to you. This attitude was directed toward the interior, as it had been in your early childhood, and you found yourself enjoying activities such as walking through nature, playing an instrument, or working with your hands. You became more aware of your image to others, and you could be conscious of what others thought of you.
Then began an awkward period where you found yourself drawn to assertive behavior, despite having been used to acting nearly the opposite. Detached and not desiring to please, you found yourself sometimes hostile or aggressive, showing resentment or rebelliousness for having been submissive to domination by others. You were now, however, determined to stand your ground despite being unhappy with the vigor you'd displayed doing so. You became less vulnerable to criticism and showed your own."

There's a hyperlink that says "see more" or something along those lines on the page with your results

The first thing i notice about your results is that they are very clear cut.
You reach extremely high scores and extremely low scores. Higher and lower than everybody else in this thread actually.
This is probably due to you going through it by "answering quickly" based on your "first instincts".
Somehow, "quickly" lead to "strongly", so to speak. (or maybe it's the other way around ?).
And this seems significant to me.
It might be the most significant thing in those results, ultimately.
Especially since this would be unlikely to happen with any of the types suggested by the test. (INFJ and INFP).

@cardia
Those results would suggest Ti polr for you. But that doesn't sound right to me.
I didn't get a Ti polr impression from you. At all.
Also, Si seems a bit high for both ENFP and INFP, and Ni a bit low for both too.
How do you self-type as, ct-wise ?

I self type as INFP. Se polr feels pretty on the nose for me as I understand it. I do think this test has me more Ne prevalent than I would imagine. I'd never type as ENFP. What impression do you get from me vincent?

What impression do you get from me vincent?
Well, the impression i was refering to is that you were basically asking all the right questions in the right way.
Which is more than can be said even from most Ti seeking (aka Ti inferior) people.
It makes Ti polr extremely unlikely. And even Ti role (which you would have if you're indeed INFP) might be too low actually.
I must say i never really got a clear Se polr impression from you either. But the thing is those impressions are about one year old now. So it's pretty hard to say.
Why not start a typing thread for you so we can renew our impressions and discuss them there ?

What kind of information would you include in a typing thread for determining CT?

See ? All the right questions in the right way.
Any photos and videos would help a lot.
Samples of creative work too.
And since you already did some work to determine your polr, i would be curious to know why you think Se polr is "on the nose" for you.
Also, it would be great if you could tell us a bit about your history with typology. Did you always self-type as INFP ? How did you determine it ? How do you relate to it ?

Is this similar to the results you got the first time hiddenglass ?
I was expecting the Fe/Fi results of this test to be quite unreliable, but i was NOT expecting a score of 36 for Fi polr...
All the more reasons to continue our discussion about it, whenever you want to.

I don't quite recall and I couldn't find any saved results… though I know I've gotten 2/3 ENTP not 2/3 INTP multiple times before.
with tests like these I always feel I can sort of lean "toward or away" from the answer I think I "should" get, without sacrificing authenticity (depending on how I interpret things) so I could probably "lean a different way" and get a higher Fe score.
and yeah, I intend to reply to you soon
