I like sensing being round, logic being square, and intution being triangular, but I don't like ethics being L-shaped. Why not? Well, for a few reasons, but first of all because logic starts with L. Okay, I get it, it was probably in Russian first but let's face it, it's still pretty strange. That's not even a popular shape and anyway why didn't they think, this looks like an 'L', and 'L' is a letter in a lot of languages so we should use something else. It really makes me wonder wtf is going on in these people's heads while they try to reduce us all to charts? Another thing is they use black for extraverted functions and white for introverted. Why? That's just weird. Is it any wonder I could not figure this stuff out from context or pick it up by osmosis? Ooh it makes me wonder... |

I'm not going to comment on the key words chosen for the information elements because it looks like a robot found them snooping around the cyber-ether and dumped them there.
Which I don't care, whatever, anyone can (and unfortunately does) write an article, but what was going on in the heads of the people who came up with the doohickeys, who established the discourse and the tools of the field, that's disturbing.
This is a field that was established by lunatics, yah?

I'm not going to comment on the key words chosen for the information elements because it looks like a robot found them snooping around and dumped them there. Which, whatever, anyone can write an article (edit: and did, they lifted a bunch of it from wikisocion), but what was going on in the heads of the people who came up with the doohickeys, who established the discourse and the tools of the field, that's disturbing. But the inventor of puzzle piece notation may perhaps have strongly felt that this domain isn't 'emotions', and chosen a shape with even more right angles than the logic square to cognitively train us out of our folly. |
