Yes. It's very revelatory. Ti ignoring. Ni used as a tool. And it's also one of the manifestation of Si polr. While Si role registers SOME details as long as they serve Ni and the hidden agenda, Si polr has a tendency to discard them to only keep the Ni "meat".

I think that would be the case with say @thana and @quindary but in my case it's virtually impossible that I would recall details of such an argument in such a context (if anywhere ever). But what I would do is employ OTHER aspects of Si to make people feel like that rooted wisdom tree is there. I would do that with Fi and Ti. I would explain (Ti) that it's..well...wrong (Fi) to be cursed with a head made of Swiss cheese, etc. I would show I respect the academic tradition of offering factoids (Si+). I would do stuff to substitute for an admitted real lack. He does none of this. He doesn't care about the Ti/Si in anything like the way I do. At the same time he 'makes this work' for him (Te/Se).

I'm finding it interesting and instructive to compare him to me. Similar energies and cognitive tools being used in subtly but substantively different ways.

Yes, but on the other hand, you would recall interpersonal facts in an Ni/Fi context better than pretty much anybody else.
Exactly.
And that's really the core difference between Role and Blindspot.

Well, between Role with Demonstrative and Polar with Blindspot. (My role is not his blindspot... ). Also can't find Auburn's list of main traits for TeNi yet but Adolph Reed does seem to fall sort of right in between two men I've looked at here so far...tbc'td cognitivetype.com/forums/topic/teni-definitive-vultology/And yes I agree I do have good recall with those 'interpersonal facts'.

New video with Katie Halper from 1:07'15" to 2:47'10". (Moore only at very beginning). Interesting to watch withdrawn TeNi just with not-so-withdrawn NiTe mirror. You can really see how Te he is and how he uses Ni and also his Si PolR and what Fe role can be for gamma quadra. It's long but I'll indicate some time stamps with comments.
