vincent , I had tried to put up a Persian medieval theme as the background but it looked terrible because of the repetition effect. Proboards (central) had linked to instructions for how to get the image to be as big as the whole page but it involves html and is way beyond my scope. They also suggested just using a pattern and that's when I tried my floor tiles. I was really just trying to figure out how things work. Then I saw that the floor tiles (continuous pattern) is NOT in the section dividers. They still have the medieval Persian theme. So that's where I'm stuck atm.

It would be nice if we could at least reset this to default...definitely I never chose white letters for any titles.

Hmm That's weird.
I didn't touch anything either.
And from what i've seen so far, i don't see any way to reset the theme to default. And given the fact this is a HOSTING board platform, there really should be one...
I'll look again tomorrow.

Welp...
I found a way to reset at least the custom images to default.
But it turns out that it doesn't change anything because the theme code still points to the same images.
I guess we will have to change them one by one no matter what.
Maybe we should set the other skin "Vintage Rose" to default while we figure that out.

vincent , just set everything you can to default but post a list of what you've done and what happened to have as a reference.

Ok. So i saved the customized CSS (the "stylesheet") then i resetted it to default. Which removed the images but also reverted all color changes that you made before.

I should be able to redo the color changes without much difficulty, based on the save i made. But i want to familiarize myself with the interface before i attempt anything.

vincent, Okay, thanks. How and where to you save the style sheet? Also, just choose a theme you like and make a temporary color scheme for now I guess.

Technically, a CSS is just a long list of text instructions. To save them you simply copy them all into a blank text file on your hardrive.
The hardest part is to get there : From the main admin page, click "go to theme", then click on "Advanced Style and CSS", then click on the "Style sheet" tab. It will show the whole CSS. Then it's just a big copy paste.

I'm just testing for now. Most of them are pretty horrible to be honest.
